The Landscape We Carry - Digital Prints

These works explore the shifting relationship between landscape, perception and experience. Places encountered at different times are brought into proximity, allowing one landscape to interrupt, alter or become entangled with another. The image no longer belongs entirely to a single place or moment, but emerges through an accumulation of different encounters.

Digital processes allow photographs to be layered, fragmented and reconfigured, moving between recognition and dislocation. Across works developed since 2023, landscape becomes increasingly fluid: aerial views, places seen in transit and fragments of natural and constructed environments are brought together in images that question the stability of what is seen and how a place comes to be understood.

Selected digital works, 2023–2026. Works from this ongoing practice were exhibited at Sydney Contemporary 2023.
